Product recall: Durex Real Feeling (nr 95551)

Attention: Durex has issued a product recall on certain batch numbers of its Real Feeling condoms due to errors with the expiry date. All retailers are advised to double-check if any Durex Real Feeling condoms (EAN: 5052197023848) purchased in the period March 2018 to July 2018 contain the following faulty batch numbers: 

• 1000444370
• 1000423840
• 1000434066
• 1000433145

Batch numbers are shown on the bottom of the pack and on the foil wrapping of individual condoms. The issue is related to a faulty expiry date, listed on the packaging between Dec. 2020 and Feb. 2021, as Durex states: “Our tests have shown that some batches which are currently on the market in UK & Ireland do not pass the requirements for burst pressure towards the end of the shelf life for the product.”

If you are in possession of any faulty batch numbers as listed above*, please contact your SCALA Account Manager or our sales team to arrange returns/refunds of the affected products.
